Robert F. Kennedy's Statement on Dr. King's Death - Montage

Back

Since the movie "Bobby" is going to be released, I created this montage on Robert F. Kennedy's Statement in Indianapolis, IN on Martin Luther King's Assassination, which he made on the night of April 4, 1968. Amid the tragedy of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, an extraordinary moment in U.S. political history occurred as Robert F. Kennedy, younger brother of slain President John F. Kennedy, broke the news of King's death to a large gathering of African Americans in Indianapolis, Indiana. Most of the people hadn't even heard that Dr. King had been shot. I can imagine that they were stunned and some cried. But that evening Robert Kennedy spoke from his soul. The words rang in almost a prayerful manner.
