There is already a movement out there to boycott the "Genocide Olympics" in London 2012 for Iraq and to tie this with Scottish independence in 2010. Heard London is scrapping the international leg of the Olympic torch relay. Can't really picture the London torch running through Muslim countries.

I really like this video. It shows that Britain still does have some people and places to be proud of. And that Britain isn't just gangs of "hoodies" stabbing each other. That is the image that lots of people are currently getting from the media.

OMG! nobody is talking about politics reasons, violence, wars and disputes that always existed and always exists! we're talking about the Olympic Games!! the video shows that the Olympic spirit without war, without violence and without policy mainly! NO discussions idiots who do not come anywhere! congratulations to Beijing and all luck of the world to London and are the best games in all history! London is marvellous and I hope that will the inspiration for that Brazil receives in 2016!

I'm really looking foward to these Olympics and everything, I'm sure they'll be great, but I think the "team GB" thing is a bit naff. Technically its the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island": It ought to be "team UK".

Also to be honest, China had to really try to make their ceremony the best as if it were some kind of over powering statement of money and polotics, but i do have to appreciate it for making it as remarkable as it was and the chances of us coming up with a better well thought,modern ceremony to truly be proud of is quite unlikely. Never the less i'll keep hope as i always do with Britain but fuck it, lets really try with this1 it will actually define this country and the world's opinions of it!

I have to be honest we're not the sort of country that show passion,commitment or belief nor do we have much to represent the kind of country that we are, and its all thanks to the people ruling us all that give us and our country such a terrible fucking image (thankyou Boris!) but as individuals i think most of us agree on that , what also annoys me is that Scotland,NI,Wales and England get lumped together, i want to stand for England...although i have no grudge towards the other countries. :)
