Here's a wild idea; they hate Americans, because Americans invaded half the middle east half a century ago, and have been occupying it ever since; America is not meddling with their country; America has invaded their country. And it would take Americans 12 months to get back to the states?!? BULLSHIT!!! If China were to launch an invasion of america at 6:00 A.M. tomorrow morning, does ANYBODY really think it would take 12 months to get the men and equipment from Iraq back to America?!?!?!?

"Broken foreign Policy!" That, sir, is hitting the nail right on the head! But America just HAD to control the OIL in the Middle East. Why? I don't think she would have been turned down as a customer! Nobody else was. Saddam's only real mistake in Washington's eyes took place in 1977, when he nationalized Iraq's OIL industry, thus depriving American Big OIL or profit.

Or perhaps you were referring to how we fixed Iraq by creating a state overrun with terrorists where before there was none. Or how we fixed Afghanistan by allowing the Taliban to escape and grow stronger than they were prior to 9/11. Sitting back on our lazy chairs would have prevented the extremists' hate toward the US. They don't despise what we stand for or what we are. They hate our broken foreign policy.

You mean how in 1953 we needed to fix Iran's democracy and replace it with a monarch for our oil interests? Or maybe how we fixed Al Qaeda by giving them 3 billion dollars and training them? Or how we improved Muslims' opinions of us by bombing Iraq for a decade and placing troops on Holy Lands.

yea bill maher lets just sit back on our lazy chairs and be totaly oblivous of our enemies and when they come and try to get crazy lets just give them some cake and ice cream while were at it. by the way if they where handling thier own business properly then they wouldnt need us to go over there and fix thier messes for them,but they cant so thats why we are over there because if we dont catch the cancer while its small we are dead when it gets big

I don't think I've heard Ron Paul use the term 'redeploy' which everyone else seems more comfortable with. Also I don't think I've heard Paul say 'retreat' which just sounds bad. But I do remeber him saying something to the effect of 'getting the heck out of there' which is what you say if you have anything resembling balls.
