Rihanna annoys the shit out of me and this song would unnerve me everytime i heard it - until i heard this version that my wife played for me. Beautiful song and sentiment. I think the arrangement is fine, the background vocals i could do without, and although the song should have built to a powerful climax I feel it built into a mundane chaotic finish. Beautiful song though.

I hate to say this because I like Mandy Moore but whoever arranged this version failed. They basically just took a catchy song and made it boring, and tried to rely on people thinking it's "deep" just because it's slow and Mandy is making out with the microphone. If someone was going to cover this song it should've been a country singer. And I don't even like country, I just think that would be the most interesting thing to do with the song. This was terrible.
